Svetlana Marenkova was born in 2004 in Voronezh. She attended the Voronezh Special Music School and then the Central Music School in Moscow (under the guidance of Alexander Golyshev and Sergei Zhuravel). At present, she is a student of the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (Professor Alexander Golyshev’s classes). Since
She is a prize-winner of many contests such as Flautiada in Bratislava (2017), Viennese Classical Music in Vienna (2018), Crescendo in New-York (2019), M.I. Kashirsky Moscow Competition (2020), Sozvezdie in the Sirius Region (Krasnodar Krai, 2021, 2022), Young Musicians International Competition (in Wind and Percussion nomination) and Vivat Musica in Moscow (2021), Rimsky-Korsakov Competition in Saint Petersburg (2022), Siberian Music Gatherings in Novosibirsk (2023), Classical Wind Instruments in Dubai (2023), Grand Premio Povoletto of Euritmia APS (Italy, 2024), Central Music School Competition in the Orchestral Winds and Percussions nomination (Moscow, 2025). She also won the Orchestral Musicians Open Competition in Vladimir (2022).
She has performed as a soloist with the Yaroslavl Governor’s Symphony Orchestra, the Vladimir Governor’s Symphony Orchestra, the Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra, the Voronezh Symphony Orchestra and some others.
